Jaime Ibacache

Jaime is a guitarist who splits his time between Los Angeles and Washington DC and surrounding areas. Originally from the country of Chile, Jaime has performed with a vast variety of groups and orchestras around. He holds a bachelors of performance from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
His career began when first forming his rock group in High School, in which he performed in various Venus around the city. Meanwhile, he was taking part in Jazz band at school, which inspired him to study at Berklee. There he finished four years of intensive studies while reforming with different groups.
Once graduated, he moved back to the DC area to pursue a music journey with his own original group Eat it Raw, which was a launching pad to future projects, and endeavors with many different groups, genres, settings, and situations.
Jaime’s resume is versatile as he has been performing with comedy acts, musicals, touring artists, and served as studio musician for several recordings.
Jaime has also arranged and orchestrated music for different singer songwriters, and hip-hop artists.
Jaime has vast experience in the musical theater world, having played several different productions in many different theaters in Washington DC, Baltimore, and NYC, including Joe’s Pub.
During his career he has participated in various important events including president Obama’s inauguration.
Jaime is currently playing with his rock group and performing with various orchestras and theaters. His latest show was On Your Feet (en español), the story of Gloria and Emilio Estefan.

Has been part of many productions of different musicals in the Washington DC and surrounding areas. Jaime was also Assistant Music Director for On Your Feet! The Story of Gloria and Emilio Estefan national tour for two years. with vast experience working with different conductors, orchestrators and arrangers. Has taken part in various premieres for different shows. Has worked under various settings and circumstances.
